Jessica Simpson's parents are calling it quits.
Tina and Joe Simpson have officially filed for divorce after 34 years of marriage, a publicist for the couple confirmed in a statement.
"It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved," the rep said. "Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time."
The Simpsons filed their divorce petition in a McLennan County, Texas, court on Sept. 24, E! News confirms.
"The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between [Tina] and [Joe] that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation," the court papers read.
The filing took place a little more than six weeks after Jess' former-minister dad and manager, better known as "Papa Joe," was popped for a DUI in Sherman Oaks, Calif. He has since pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 or above, charges which could nab him up to six months in jail.
Besides Jessica, the Simpsons also have younger daughter Ashlee Simpson and two grandchildren.
