Consider this duo's rumored feud just a rumor.
Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence were all smiles when they met at the Toronto Film Festival Saturday, squashing speculation that there was a bit of a beef brewing recently between the Twilight and Hunger Games stars.
Us Weekly first reported the story, saying the ladies met while doing press at the Intercontinental Hotel in Toronto.
"They chatted for a little," a source told E! News. "They were genuinely excited to meet each other."
"[Kristen and Jennifer] hope the feud rumors will be over already," the source added.
The duo hit it off so well that Lawrence reportedly invited Stewart to a party for her film Silver Linings Playbook at Soho House that evening, according to People.
Back in March, Lawrence sat down with Access Hollywood and talked about the pair's supposed feud, saying she wrote Stewart an e-mail after she saw a fabricated tabloid story about her badmouthing the On the Road actress.
"I wrote her an email because there was this huge, like, article about a Twilight and Hunger Games feud," Lawrence said. "And we've never met before and never spoken…and there were all these fake quotes from me…and I was like 'Oh my God if she reads this what if she thinks it's true.' So, I just shot her an email, and was like, 'Hey, can't wait to see more as this feud unfolds."
"She wrote back, and was like, 'It's fine. Welcome to the world where everything you say gets turned around,'" Lawrence went on. "So, she understood."
