Seriously, what torture artists decided to put many of our favorite shows on at the same time on the very same night?

We've got to choose between our beloved vamps on The Vampire Diaries and Britney Spears on X Factor (not to mention Scott  Speedman's small-screen return on Last Resort) at 8 p.m., while 9 p.m. forces us to pick between our Glee favorites and the docs over on Grey's. And returning favorite Scandal versus standout newbie Elementary? Way harsh, TV Gods! And we haven't even mentioned NBC's comedies yet!
