Talk about hits that keep on coming.

Nearly a week after he was alleged to have punched a fellow motorist in a fit of road rage on the streets of Paris after crashing his scooter into the latter's car, Gérard Depardieu has now fired back with a counter-complaint accusing the man of reckless driving.

Local police confirmed to E! News that the 63-year-old French film legend responded with his own complaint on Saturday, two days after the traffic altercation that took place in the City of Lights' sixth arrondissement on the Left Bank.

Shortly after the mishap, the ever-volatile Depardieu admitted running into the unidentified male driver in an interview with France's RTL radio. But he claimed that the motorist was responsible for the incident because he made Depardieu fearful owing to his celebrity status.

"My reaction was perhaps a little over the top because I was very scared," the actor said. Chalking it up to "the price of fame," he added, "Some people just see me and file a complaint."

Depardieu is no stranger to making a public spectacle of himself. Case in point, the thesp ran into trouble last year when he decided to unzip his fly and urinate in a bottle during an Air France flight to Dublin after he was barred from going to the toilette.
