"It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce our planned Brixton Academy show tonight has been canceled," they said in a statement. "After the show last night, the doctor was called out to Mark Hoppus who has been diagnosed with acute laryngitis and sinusitis and been told that he is unable to perform tonight."
"Apologies to all of our fans who had bought tickets and were looking forward to show. Thanks for all of the continued support and understanding and coming out to see us at the 34 previous shows we've done on the European tour this summer," the band, which includes Hoppus, Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge, added. "We've had an awesome time and hope you have too."
Earlier this month, the trio announced that Barker would need to miss some parts of their world tour due to his fear of flying. The 36-year-old drummer was involved in a 2008 plane crash, along with DJ AM, that killed four other passengers.
In May, the band also had to cancel several dates of their North American tour when Barker underwent an emergency tonsillectomy.
Let's hope Hoppus gets better soon and all the guys stay healthy.
