With onetime America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden painting a rather aggressive picture of the Blonsky family in recounting the July 29 airport brawl that resulted in one hospitalization and assault charges all around, the 19-year-old Hairspray star has broken her silence on the incident, saying it left her "completely destroyed."
"The hardest part for me is to see my parents walk around in severe upset and sadness," she told People.
Not surprisingly, her account of the fight in Turks and Caicos could not be more different from Golden's.
While the former reality star claimed Blonsky started the fight by making a snide remark to Golden's aunt, Blonsky now claims it was the Golden family who initiated the trouble, taking offense at fellow passengers saving seats in the departure area at Providenciales International Airport.
Though she failed to disclose what led up to the full-out fight, Blonsky said things really kicked off when she asked Golden not to point in her face.
"That's when she stood up, pulled her arm all the way back and said, 'F--k you, you white bitch.' And then she closed her fist and punched me."
It's quite a different take from Golden's, who said on yesterday's Tyra Banks Show that Blonsky's father Carl started the melee by knocking out her mother. She claimed that the rest of the Blonskys jumped in to fight, with Nikki herself kicking her mother in the crotch.
"Absolute lies," Blonsky told People.
Whatever really went down, Golden's mother, Elaine, did have to be airlifted from the Caribbean to a Florida hospital after suffering a broken nose, fractured skull and severe internal bleeding.
Golden, Blonsky and Blonsky's father Carl were all charged with actual bodily harm and common assault, with Carl facing the additional charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Golden could face two years behind bars if convicted when her trial kicks off Nov. 24.
Nikki and Carl Blonsky face up to two and five years in prison, respectively, and are both due in court Dec. 1.
