Another Catching Fire contender has officially been cast...and it isn't Finnick.

But while we eagerly anticipate who will be cast as the tanned-and-toned god of a tribute (and we have a feeling Lionsgate is saving the best for last), the studio behind the highly anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games announced an equally important player.

So who is playing Wiress?

Amanda Plummer!

If the name isn't ringing any bells, fear not, because she's another award winner to add to the mix. (She'll join Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman, who was recently cast as Head Gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee.)

Plummer, who is best known for her memorable role in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, is a three-time Emmy winner—for shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit—a Golden Globe nominee and a Tony-winning theater actress.

Plummer will play Wiress, aka the appropriately nicknamed "Nuts," a Tribute alumni who (spoiler alert!) is thrown back into the arena for the 75th annual Hunger Games competition, the Quarter Quell. And she has a very key observation she must pass on to Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set to hit theaters Nov. 22, 2013, and will be directed by Francis Lawrence.

So who do you think will be cast next: Wiress' pal Beetee? The lovable Mags? Possibly...Finnick himself?! As Wiress would say, "Tick tock, tick tock!" Better hurry—production starts soon.
