While it's been reported that Hilton is heading to next month's Pop Music Festival in Brazil to perform a new single, "After Midnight," I'm told that's not exactly correct.
Hilton, 31, confirms that she will be in Brazil to make her professional DJ debut in front of 30,000 people in São Paulo. The one-hour set featuring her own remixes will immediately follow performances by Kelly Clarkson and Lopez on June 23.
"Electronic music is a huge passion of mine and I'm finally letting the world experience it with me," Hilton says. "I have been working in the studio for a long time and ready to take deejaying to the next level. I chose Brazil for my debut because it is the country of music and dancing."
She hopes to spin at nightclubs worldwide. "I want everyone to fall in love with the beats like I have," Hilton says.
But it's not like she's giving up singing: Hilton is still working on a releasing a second album.
