A wise frog once said, "It's not easy being green." Donald Trump made it clear that it wasn't easy to make green either on tonight's episode of Celebrity Apprentice.
The eight remaining contestants put on their makeup and dressed up to try their hands as puppeteers. However, some were left asking themselves, "Why do we always come here?" I guess we'll never know.
So let's just get down to business with the details from tonight's show.
The teams were assigned to build two original puppet characters for the legendary Jim Henson's Creature Shop. The celebs had to perform with their creations at Henson's "Stuffed and Unstrung" live improv puppet show for adults.
Paul Teutul, Sr. volunteered as project manager for Team Unanimous and Lisa Lampanelli stepped forward for Team Forte.
Lisa and Dayana Mendoza's brief stint as frenemies was cut short when Lisa banned the beauty queen from the spotlight. As we saw last week, Dayana has developed a thick skin and is not afraid to make fun of Lisa's whiny behavior to the camera.
In the Creature Shop, Teresa Guidice opted to add some curves to her puppet because she wanted the character to be a reflection of herself. Arsenio Hall supported her decision saying, "Everything is better with boobs." Preach.
Right before the show began, Lisa blew up at Dayana, who finally broke down and cried. She explained that she tries to treat Lisa better than Lisa treats her, and couldn't take it anymore. Meanwhile Lisa cried too. Clay Aiken suggested that Lisa is constantly intimidated by Dayana's beauty.
As we know, the show must go on, and Team Forte seemed to pull all the right strings. Lisa and Clay performed with their puppets, and the audience went wild. Clay practically stole the show.
Act Two brought Teresa and Arsenio to the stage with their puppets. Aubrey O'Day finally got to take some charge as the host, after holding her opinions inside throughout the challenge. She performed well and seemed to have a knack for on-stage timing and pacing.
In the boardroom, Donald jumped right into the drama between Dayana and Lisa—that's what we call a true puppeteer. When he asked Lisa whom she would take with her to the boardroom, she shocked everyone. She broke down in tears, and said she would not take anyone with her. It was clear she felt bad for making Dayana cry. Does this mean that maybe someday Lisa and Dayana will find their own rainbow connection?
Lisa and her team finally won a challenge, earning $20,000 for Lisa's charity, Gay Men's Health Crisis.
Paul decided to take Aubrey and Teresa to the chopping block, but the girls put up a fight. Aubrey stood up for Teresa, noting that she tried hard to succeed despite her inexperience. Paul was hanging by a string and since he failed as project manager, he got cut.
Do you think Paul and his groovy mustache should have been fired? Sound off in the comments!
