Katy Perry is definitely more than someone who kissed a girl and liked it.

In this new trailer for the singer's upcoming 3-D concert movie/documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me, we get way more than just the bubbly pop star with a penchant for spraying whipped cream from her bra.

To be sure, there's plenty of onstage stuff here, but the hugely successful singer also opens up about much of her personal life—from her early years growing up in a Christian home to the challenges she faced trying to break into the music business.

As for her recent divorce from Russell Brand? While we don't see Perry herself discussing it in this clip, it is mentioned in a voiceover as the songstress is seen hunched over in her dressing room backstage.

But for all the highs and lows that clearly make up Perry's new flick, the songstress summarizes it by saying,  "If you have a dream, you have to go on a journey to fulfill that dream."

Katy Perry: Part of Me hits theaters Fourth of July weekend.
