Marston Hefner has been officially charged with assault on girlfriend Playboy Playmate Claire Sinclair, following a domestic dispute two weeks ago that left her seeking an emergency protective order against him.
Pasadena city attorney Connie Orozco confirms to E! News that the 21-year-old son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has been slapped with spousal or cohabitant battery and vandalism charges and must must appear in person on March 21 to answer for them.
Hefner was arrested on Feb. 12 after officers were called to the couple's Pasadena home over a domestic-violence report. Sinclair, 20, suffered minor injuries, and Hefner was taken into custody without incident.
Shortly after, Sinclair spoke to E! News about her version of the incident, saying that Hefner was "stressed out" after they had recently moved into the apartment and that the altercation stemmed from a "really silly" argument that erupted into violence.
"Initially, he kicked me and I went backwards, I fell," she claimed, before displaying her bruised arm. "Then he punched me and grabbed me up, and I scratched him to defend myself. It was very shocking."
Sinclair also alleged that this wasn't the first time the two have had a domestic dispute during their two-year relationship. She and Hefner are no longer a couple, she claimed.
