We may not understand her ways, but we can't help but love her.
Kristen Bell appeared on Ellen today and revealed a side of her we had yet to see. And although it was intense and very emotional, it was also extremely adorable and hilarious.
"Tomorrow at 4pm you can see the sensitive madness that is the inside of my brain," she had tweeted yesterday.
Yeah, you could call it madness.
Bell told Ellen DeGeneres a story of how fiancé Dax Shepard surprised her with a sloth encounter for her 31st birthday over the summer. It might not sound like the perfect gift to you, but to Kristen, it was a dream come true.
"I had no context for knowing what it was. But I grab the dogs, walk into the back room of the house and I immediately was overcome and thought, 'There's a sloth near. There's a sloth here, it's close, it's gonna happen.' And I didn't know how to process that, because my entire life, had been waiting for this moment, where I would get to interact—I'm serious—with a sloth."
And then we got a peek at her home video, where Bell was lying down covering her eyes and weeping while having a panic attack over what her soon-to-be hubby got for her, which made us wish we could just go through the TV screen and give her a big bear sloth hug (while giggling).
"you guys are so sweet. it was scary 2 show an ugly cry video but i am so glad if u got a laugh from watching- thats what i was hoping!!! xo," she tweeted.
Take a look!
