Yes, when a movie is rooted in the tragic events of 9/11, it's destined to be emotional. So, not surprisingly, this new trailer for the upcoming film Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close may be a bit hard to watch at times, but it's also very uplifting.

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Jonathan Safran Foer, it centers on a 9-year-old boy named Oskar (Jeopardy! winner Thomas Horn) as he deals with the loss of his father (Tom Hanks) at the Twin Towers. When he discovers a key that belonged to his Dad, Oskar embarks on an offbeat quest for information as to what it unlocks.

Sandra Bullock, appearing in her first role since taking home an Academy Award for The Blind Side, plays Oskar's mom. The moving drama, directed by Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot, The Hours) also stars Viola Davis, James Gandolfini and Max von Sydow.

So, take a look. Although, you may want to grab a hankie first. Or two.
