Paz de la Huerta doesn't play a fine lady on TV and she's starting to get kind of a lousy reputation in the real world, too.

The Boardwalk Empire star, who's facing criminal charges for allegedly knocking a fellow partygoer around at an NYC nightclub last month, has now been sued by the reality-TV player who claims she suffered injuries that are "permanent in nature."

And Paz doesn't have a politically connected boyfriend to get her out of this one...

E! News has confirmed that Samantha Swetra, who traversed The City with Whitney Port a while back, filed her complaint today in New York. She claims that she has sustained severe physical and emotional injuries from de la Huerta's attack.

Per the NYPD, de la Huerta supposedly hit Swetra in the face and hurled a glass at her, a piece of which lodged in Swetra's leg. In addition to the injury to her leg, Swetra also had cuts to her nose and mouth, according to the official account.

In charging de la Huerta with misdemeanor assault in the third degree, criminal possession of a weapon and attempted assault and harassment, prosecutors are characterizing the airborne glass as a weapon.

There is also a temporary restraining order in place to prevent de la Huerta from going anywhere near Swetra.

De la Huerta, meanwhile, is staying mum and keeping her lawyer close.

"We plan to tell our side of the story in the courtroom, with the real facts, not in the media. Paz thanks her friends and fans for their continued support of her," the actress' attorney, Jamel Oeser-Sweat, tells E! News.
