Perhaps Glee should consider some Spice Girls?
Or, at the very least, a bit of Victoria Beckham…
David Beckham tells me Fox's high school musical series is one of their favorites.
"It's such a great program." He said at the Teen Choice Awards, where he was named Choice Male Athlete. "We love it."
So much so that David thinks Victoria would—of course—jump at the chance to be on the show. "I'm sure she'd love to go on Glee," he said. "Yeah, she'd definitely go on it. "
Among David's other favorites are Modern Family ("It just makes me laugh," he said) and…Friends!
"I'm a huge Friends fan," he said. "I know it's been over for quite some years but I could watch it over and over again. I love it."
And he also loves, (as we all know), soccer. He says he'll be back to taking his shirt off for us playing in about a month. He was sidelined in March with a ruptured Achilles tendon. "I can't wait," Becks said. "It's been five months literally doing nothing. I've never had that before.
"They're saying October but I want to be back in September," he continued. "That's me. I'm stubborn…I'll take chances and certain risks to get back earlier."
One thing he's not doing is opening an English pub in Los Angeles With Hell's Kitchen chef Gordon Ramsay as it was reported a few days ago. "Maybe Gordon and I should talk about doing it now since everyone seems to be talking it," he laughed. "You never know."
