Marcia Cross Disses Vegas, Not Nicollette

Cross is quite the opinionated talker, when it’s not about Desperate Housewives

Marcia Cross, you need to let your hair down more often. Literally!

The Desperate Housewives star who plays up-tight Bree Hodge so spot-on isn't exactly like her nitpicky character, when she's off the set, anyways.

MC was in Las Vegas Saturday night, celebrating her b-day at Venus Pool Club and at PURE Nightclub later on that night.

Who knew the girl could shake it up so well?

Before Cross's sin-city get-down, the fiery redhead flew a Southwest flight leaving from LAX late Saturday morning and she was quite the chatterbox.

And if you're a fierce Vegas lover, do not read on...

Cross decided to take a seat in the back of the plane (Teri Hatcher would never do such a thing, we assure you) with two pals, putting herself right next to a group of rowdy gals headed to Vegas for a bachelorette party.

We're told by a fellow passenger that Cross "looked great" with her ginger hair down wearing a dark blazer, ebony pants, flat boots and a flattering green top.

"She wasn't wearing much makeup and still looked really pretty," adds our high-flying source. Cross and Nicole Kidman so have that in common. The less makeup the better, babes!

While onboard, MC and her friends were laughing and talking rather loudly the whole way out to Vegas. So what did the DH star have to say about Nicollette Sheridan and the slap heard cross, well, Los Angeles?

Absolutely nada.

When getting off the plane a fan on the flight tried to ask Marcia about the incident, but Cross, who was rather friendly about everything else, said nothing when Sheridan's name was brought up. Zero. Even pretended she didn't hear the query at all.

Guess the cast is taking the lockdown thing pretty seriously, but, we think M could have taken a page from Eva Longoria's politically correct playbook. Or who knows, maybe she really just didn't hear the question? Yeah, and none of the DH gals have aged without Beverly Hills science help, either.

On the flight, though, Cross, who wasn't boozing like the bachelorettes, was still totally the life of the party, joking around with the girls onboard and happily engaging in story-time with her guy and girl-pal in tow. Shy, she's not.

Apparently, the flight hit tons of turbulence when the plane was landing, to which Marcia joked:

"If I went down going to Vegas I'd be so pissed! After what I went through to get this life? I'd double kill myself!"

We're told everyone around her started cracking up.

Geez, we can totally get down with this carefree Cross. M, you so need to go to Vegas more often!

As for that nasty Sheridan stuff, we hear from certain Desperate crew and cast members that they're hoping if they "shut up, the whole problem will blow over." In the media that, is.

"Everyone's just shocked Nicollette waited so long," dishes one of our sources about the lawsuit . "Nobody gets it. Why now?"

Yeah Nic, why now? You know we're all ears. And we're sure Marc Cherry is, too.
