Could a new feud be a-brewin'?
Even though she's been featured on one of Brit's songs, the 23-year-old "TiK ToK" singer is vehemently against her lip-syncing.
"I don't think that's fair at all for people who are going to see the show," she tells the Scottish Daily Record. "I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance. If you are going to do a combination of the two, you should make it very clear when you are singing and very clear when you are dancing."
Here's where she gets a bit more personal…
"No offense to her specifically, but people have asked me before to mime," she says. "I have been up at 3:00 in the morning for a television show with jet lag but I refuse to mime."
In other words, she doesn't care what she sounds like, as long as it's her voice in the microphone and not a recording.
"It's treating people as if they are too stupid to realize you are not actually singing," her rant continues. "Sometimes it is hard to sing and dance at the same time, but I would rather be off and be real and genuine about it to my fans. I don't want to treat my fans like they are stupid...When I am singing, I may sound s--t sometimes, but at least you'll know I'm singing."
So much for that party when she walked in.
Britney, it's your turn. Feel free to remind her that you already taught the lesson on the importance of wearing underpants.
Ke$ha popped up during New York Fashion Week without any pants as well. Check it out in our Runway Rundown gallery!
