If you're expecting This Is It to give you insight into the heart and mind of Michael Jackson, forget about it.

There are no revealing interviews or secret-spilling confessions.

This Is It is the concert we never got to see. No doubt it leaves you wondering about Jackson's state of health because he is so incredibly thin, but...

The footage more than proves that he still had that magic until the very end.

His dancing is pure Michael Jackson. He pops, glides and gyrates around the stage. His voice may appear shaky at times, but we have to remember this is rehearsal footage. Even Jackson apologizes to his crew for not belting out his best because he wanted to save his voice.

This Is It humanizes Michael. It shows he was still alert, in control and had a dry—and sometimes wicked—sense of humor.

And he would have loved last night's premiere and afterparty. A screening at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles was followed by flashing lights, a rotating floor, flat screen televisions with MJ's videos on a nonstop loop, music blasting from speakers and mannequins showcasing the Swarovski crystal-covered costumes made for his London comeback.

And there were celebs: Jennifer Lopez, Adam Lambert, Will Smith, Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, Paula Abdul, Glee stars Cory Montieth, Kevin McHale and Chris Colfer, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jamie Kennedy, Vivica A. Fox and Jackson's brothers Jermaine, Marlon, Tito and Jackie.

Somewhere Michael is smiling. This Is It is not about the final moments of his life. If anything, it's a final encore that will live on forever.
