We always think of Kate Middleton as a down-to-earth duchess, but in a recent taxi commercial from China, she's portrayed as anything but!

In the satirical clip, a Kate lookalike stands outside with two actors resembling Prince William and Queen Elizabeth. As the trio wait in the rain for a cab, Kate complains, "I just don't understand why we can't take the royal limo. I didn't marry royalty to schlep around in a taxi."

The William impersonator explains, "But darling, Granny is right. The commoners want to see us tightening our belts and all that."

"Rubbish, people want to see that they can be like us if they just work hard," she responds.

The Queen then mockingly asks, "Like you did?"

"Now, now, Granny," the faux William says. "We all know that it's I who fell for Kate."

"That's right, I didn't even fancy him at first," she says. "Don't you remember? You had to practically beg me for my phone number."

Fortunately, Wills has Panda Cab on speed-dial. In seconds, a car appears, whisking the royal couple and the queen away to the Diamond Jubilee. They arrive on time and politely greet well-wishers, much as the real royals do.
