Despite Calvin Harris' denial that "My Way" has any sort of connection to ex Taylor Swift, we gotta talk about that music video.
The Scottish DJ-producer dropped the visuals for his latest hit Friday, in which Harris relives a relationship turned sour through a virtual reality headset. This time around, Calvin's video vixen, who bears no resemblance to the pop sensation, is a domesticated robot with a few debilitating technical glitches. Cue the drama.
It didn't take long for those dedicated Swifties (E! News included) to comb through every nanosecond of "My Way" for a Taylor reference, and boy did Calvin deliver. For your daily dose of shade, read on for all the similarities we simply can't ignore:
First things first—that dress! Taylor's been known to rock a mean polka dot number over the years; so much so that the girly look has become almost synonymous with the Grammy winner. Coincidental choice courtesy of Calvin's wardrobe department? Doubtful.
Standing atop a horse isn't the easiest thing in the world to pull off, so when Taylor did the damn thing in her "Blank Space" music video, Calvin took it one step further by having his co-star actually ride the horse.
This contentious dining room conversation rings a bell that sounds a little too similar to Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" video...
Sci-fi vibes? Check. White hot two-piece ensemble? Double check. Horizontal positioning? So obvious.
Call this one the smoking gun. Harris' co-star donned a strappy, black leather dress in the video's final scenes that had us watching "Bad Blood" back to back all over again.
