BravoWe need to talk about Rey, and not the popular Rey, the hero of Star Wars: The Force Awakens played by Daisy Ridley, we need to talk about Real Housewives of New York City's Rey, Luann de Lesseps' ex-boyfriend. This Rey showed up at Dorinda Medley and John Mahdessian's dry cleaning party or whatever they were celebrating. Rey showed up and said he was having a nervous breakdown over seeing Luann and he just wanted her to "shut the f—k up" and give him a kiss. Things didn't end well for the two who once had some fun in Ibiza if Instagram pictures are to believed.
"In order to find my prince, I'm going to have to kiss some frogs. Running into Rey at John's party was unfortunate. His obsession with me is very scary, and I knew soon after meeting him it wasn't going to work," Luann wrote in her blog. "Why would I ever want to date someone who expresses his feelings with such desperate vulgarity? Obviously someone had too much to drink. Not attractive."
After Luann left the party, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan continued hanging out with Rey, Ramona said in an effort to get some dirt on the countess because the party was boring.
"I have a charity. A charity that helps poor people," he said with what appears to be a martini in a plastic cup.
"That's good," Ramona replied.
You saw what happened next. They were thrown out of the party.
"How did my stalker Rey get invited to this soiree? Or was he invited? I couldn't run away fast enough, and it's a good thing I did. He's trouble and John had to get him out of there. What I found confusing was why Ramona jumped into to defend him," Luann wrote. "She should have let John remove him from the scene before he could mess with any other partygoers. John putting his hand in Ramona's face was wrong, but he was right to throw her out. Dorinda said it wasn't that his actions weren't correct, it was that his reaction was incorrect. She decided to flee this scene as well. Good choice!"
But after defending him, Ramona said she wasn't with Rey and didn't know him. Talk about bizarre.
Bethenny Frankel, who wasn't a part of the fight and Rey thing, called the situation "insane" in her blog.
"The first thing I thought was who would date that vile creature much less go to Ibiza with him? Not sure why Ramona wanted to speak with him but probably to get some dirt because where men and Luann are there may be some to dig up. I agreed with Dorinda that John was right to want to toss that pig from his party, but ever so wrong to wave his hands at Ramona and light that flame again," she wrote. "John needs a paycheck, an Herve Leger dress and an apple and he is ready for his tagline. That was some fight."
