Attention women everywhere: You're going to be as incensed as Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) when you watch E! News' exclusive sneak peek at Scandal's big debate, in which Hollis Doyle (Gregg Henry) throws around some horribly sexist ideas.

Trust us, it'll horrify you.

"If all it takes to be presidential is to shake hands, give speeches and know which color lipstick to wear to the party, then go ahead on. Take your pick of one of these Betties," he says during the televised event as Sally Langston (Kate Burton) watches on, not letting Mellie—or Susan Ross (Artemis Pebdani), for that matter—get a word in edgewise.

He then proceeds to question the fact that Mellie is having Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), her ex-husband's former mistress, lead up her campaign: "That's not presidential, it's downright weird," he says. "And confusing as hell!"

You could actually argue the other way, Hollis, that two powerful women putting their personal differences aside to collaborate on an important political endeavor is the most presidential move ever, considering whoever is elected will spend four years making compromises to appease both sides of the political spectrum, but sure. It's "weird."

Tonight's episode, "The Miseducation of Susan Ross," sees the first Republican debate finally happen. Afterward, Olivia has to validate the authenticity of some damaging information about one of Mellie's opponents and David (Joshua Malina) deals with the shambles of his romantic life. As always, Cyrus (Jeff Perry) will plot out his own political agenda.

Press play on the clip above to watch the infuriating moment, then tune in to Scandal at 9 p.m. on ABC to find out how Mellie responds to the sexism in action.
