This season of Marvel's Daredevil, the hero is joined by two very famous Marvel Comics characters: Elektra and The Punisher.
Elodie Yung is Elektra, the deadly assassin and former girlfriend of Matt Murdock and Jon Bernthal is Frank Castle (aka Punisher). This isn't Bernthal's first comic role: he starred as Shane in The Walking Dead for the first two seasons of the AMC zombie apocalypse drama.

Marvel's Daredevil also stars Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Scott Glenn as Stick.
Daredevil is just one part of Netflix's growing Marvel TV universe. Jessica Jones starring Krysten Ritter hit Netflix at the end of 2015 and a second season has been ordered. Luke Cage will follow Daredevil later this year and Iron Fist is still in the works. All four heroes will join together for a Defenders miniseries at a later date. Dawson appears in Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.
