The devil returns to Hell's Kitchen this March. Netflix announced Marvel's Daredevil will return for a second season on Friday, March 18. Yes, that's one week before Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, so sorry to all comic fans who were hoping for a March 25 Marvel vs. DC Comics standoff.

For season two, Boardwalk Empire veteran Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock/Daredevil alongside The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (aka The Punisher), Elodie Yung as Elektra, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Scott Glenn as Stick. Netflix made no mention of Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk in the press release announcing the new season.

The second season will be 13 one-hour episodes dropping all at once.

Daredevil was the first of Marvel's Netflix shows. Jessica Jones starring Krysten Ritter followed at the end of 2015 with Luke Cage starring Mike Colter next up. Marvel's Iron Fist is also on the docket, as well as a team-up series featuring Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, titled Marvel's The Defenders.

Catch up on the happenings of season one with the season two teaser trailer above.

Daredevil's executive produced by new co-showrunners Marco Ramirez and Douglas Petrie, and Jeph Loeb, head of Marvel TV.
