Forget unREAL, E! News is exposing all of The Bachelor's behind-the-scenes secrets.
Our sources? Former contestants, who appeared on The Bachelor and Bachelorette, and are offering up tidbits that may surprise longtime fans of the franchise. Like just how many calories are consumed by the cast throughout the season. Yes, really.
'"They never show anyone eating, but we do chow a lot," Cassandra Ferguson revealed, with Tenley Molzahn adding that they are always "eating a lot."
Ashley Iaconetti offered up, "We get to hang out with the Bachelor maybe five percent of our total time there. So it's really just a bit sorority, and you get so close to the girls."
Ashley I. wasn't the only former contestant who felt the time crunch. "The biggest shocker was the limited amount of time," Tanner Tolbert agreed. "That wasn't the best. It wasn't ideal."
And being on one of the franchise's shows isn't like your typical 9-to-5 job, with a few of the contestants pointing out the long shooting hours.
'I would say that's probably the first story that I tell...everyone's always, like, 'I can't believe that guy got drunk,' and I'm like, 'You know what, that's a really long party!'" Nick Peterson shared. "You really have to pace yourself...it's long hours."
