When people get a platform like a TV series, they tend to use it to shine a light on their political views. For Billy Eichner, that means taking a hard stance on one of our nation's most pressing issues: The critical reception of 2010's Sex and the City 2.

Yes, you read that right. On this week's episode of Billy on the Street, Eichner lays out his impassioned defense of that much-maligned sequel during a visit from Ms. Carrie Bradshaw herself, Sarah Jessica Parker. And by "lay out," we mean "screams right in SJP's face."

"Here's what I think: I think that that show had dealt so well, in such a smart, sharp way in dissecting guys that I think bros, all the bros out there really liked the chance to jump on it finally to a certain degree. And people said, ‘I don't believe them going to the Middle East,'" Eichner begins. "I have one guy, a friend of mine who's into sci-fi, he's like, ‘It's not believable they go to the Middle East.' I said, ‘Oh you can't believe they go to the Middle East, but you believe in f--king Chewbacca, you f--king turd? You'll believe anything that happens on some planet George Lucas made up, but you can't believe that Kim Cattrall would film for a few weeks in Morocco?' I'm serious. I'm so glad to finally be getting this off my chest."

SJP's stunned response? "You're saying things I never would have the courage to say."

Something tells us Eichner didn't rush to pre-order tickets to Star Wars: The Force Awakens for this weekend.

Press play on the very funny video above to see Eichner's insane rant in full, which he and Parker follow up with a new game called "Santa's Reindeer or Sex App?" You won't want to miss the prize for winning that one.

Billy on the Street airs Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. on truTV.
