FKA Twigs, Katy Perry

There's no singer rivalry here, folks!

FKA twigs just dropped a 16-minute, epic four-part music video titled "M3LL155X" (Code for Melissa, the name of her forthcoming EP and her alter ago, kind of…), and Katy Perry is already doling out her stamp of approval.

Shortly after releasing the lengthy clip, Perry took to Twitter to write, "The crown has officially been snatched from everyone," and included a link for all her Katycats to see.

Well, then! If that's not a rave review, then we don't know what is.

(Sidebar: It should be noted that Perry and Twigs have one superstar in common, Robert Pattinson! The pop star has been close pals with the Twilight hunk for years, and of course, the Brit songstress is soon-to-become Ms. Pattinson herself!)

But back to the matter at hand, the music video!

Between giving birth to a bunch of colors (yes, that happens), vogueing with a crew of backup dancers, posing as an inflatable sex doll while a creepy older man sweats all over the plastic, Twigs' mini film is sure to have something for everyone.

In a recent interview with Complex, Twigs explained some of the backstory behind "M3LL155X" and her upcoming album, saying, "It's a lot to do with more openly female energy, and things that affect that balance. That's why I wanted to be pregnant in the video," she shared.

"The EP is called Melissa, and Melissa to me is my personal female energy. I've never called it Melissa before the EP. It's not a weird alter ego, it's just my way of separating it from myself….I've learned to embrace parts of my femininity that I wasn't in touch with before."

The artist also explained that she doesn't want her fans to think she takes herself too seriously, either.

"I feel like people don't realize that I have a sense of humor about things. I'm very goofy, and I've enjoyed being able to incorporate some of that into my work."

That said, take a look for yourself…
