If Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds baby blurts out a cuss word, we know who to blame.
Reynolds tells me that seven-month-old James spent a lot of time on the set of Deadpool, his R-rated superhero movie that he admits is chock full of cursing.
"She's going to learn those words eventually anyway," he joked with me at Comic-Con. "If her first word is f--k, then I've done something wrong, but otherwise I think we're fine. I think we're OK.
"The second or third [word], that's fine. But the first? No," Reynolds said, laughing. "It's going to have to be mom or dad. I'm rooting for mom."
This was Reynolds' second Comic-Con.
"I've probably seen about 400 [Deadpools] at this point," he said. "I saw a couple that were awesome, that were really amazing. One guy [had] contact lenses underneath, really elaborate stuff. I took a picture with about eight of them that I saw just outside a little while ago…It was cool to see that. It was cool to see that level of passion and determination to make a perfect Deadpool."
As we told you earlier, Reynolds' Comic-Con appearance at the 20th Century Fox panel included a showing of the first Deadpool trailer, which E!'s Jenna Mullins reported was gory, raunchy and glorious.
Reynolds promised, "It's got everything you ever want."
Meanwhile, his co-star Gina Carano gushed about Reynolds and Lively. "I was so surprised to meet him and Blake and just find them to be the most pleasant well known celebrity-type people on the planet," she said, adding, "They're so beautiful and so nice. It kind of gives you a little hope in the world."
We've got a lot more Comic-Con for you tonight on E! News at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.
