Even royalty sometimes wakes up on the wrong side of the bed.

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and husband of Queen Elizabeth II attended an RAF photocall in London today in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. And apparently, the 94-year-old royal lost his temper while waiting for photographers, even dropping an F-bomb which was caught on camera.

In the clip obtained by NBC News, Prince Philip can be seen telling the photog to "just take it" before he seemingly loses his cool and exclaims, "just take the f--king picture."

Presumably, that got the point across...

The Duke of Edinburgh's outburst was met with laughter by those posing for the pic, including grandson Prince William, who couldn't help but flash a small smirk before grinning from ear to ear (wife Kate Middleton was not in attendance).

Meanwhile, Philip's great-granddaughter Princess Charlotte's christening portraits were released on Thursday, and photographer Mario Testino opened up about what it was like to work with the royal family.

"What impressed me the most was the energy of the family, and of that between the Duke and Duchess," Testino said upon release of the portraits. "One sees how solid they are together and one gets a sense of their strong family values."

He added: "It was incredible to be able to document four generations of the British Royal Family together—the monarch and three heirs to the throne—and very heartwarming to see the close relationship between them all."
