And the winners of the Best Beauty Products in the Skin-Care Category go to…

It's almost red carpet season, but the 2017 E! Style Beauty Awards are now. This isn't just any beauty competition—we're officially honoring the best products launched this year and the impact they have had in the world of celebrity. These are the products we've seen on red carpets, tested on star's Instagrams, seen in paparazzi shots and recommended by Hollywood pros.

In all transparency, the beauty business can get a little murky. Sometimes, a celeb is paid to endorse a product on social or a makeup artist has a deal with a brand to use a specific item on a client, leaving us to wonder if the product actually works. Not to mention, a lot of celeb beauty brands aren't as great as said celeb's fame. Factoring all that in, we tried this year's best releases, so you know what's real and what's Hollywood hype.

Keep scrolling for the best in skin care. There's a big trend toward green beauty, with some lesser known brands you may not know. There are also a few drugstore surprises—and a lot of red-carpet-worthy products you need to try, stat.
