Paula Patton definitely shows some (green) skin in the upcoming big screen adaptation of the iconic video game Warcraft.
"Figuring out where the leather bits went, that took a little time actually believe it or not," Patton says of skimpy wardrobe. "But once you put it on, it wasn't too challenging though."
Her look as Garona, who is the half-Orc and half-human, also included pointy ears, scars and small tusks protruding from her lips.
Even so, her 6-year-old son Julian loved how she looked. "He really liked it. I'm 'Orc Mommy' or 'Mommy Orc,'" Patton said. "He wanted the ears. Every couple of days we had to change them out, we'd tape them to his ears. He thought that was quite cool."
During our interview, Patton was wearing a gold "Julian" nameplate necklace. "I can't think of a better set I brought him to. There were horses and all these amazing props...It was like a bit of a fairy tale," she said.
Has Julian inherited the show business gene from his actress mom and singer dad. "We'll see," Patton said. "He certainly likes to entertain."
Ten years in the making, Warcraft is directed by Duncan Jones and co-stars Travis Fimmel, Toby Kebbell, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Ben Schnetzer and True Blood alum Robert Kazinsky.
And get this—Kazinsky is a actually a champion Warcraft player who says his total playing time at this point is close to 500 days!
Julian certainly wasn't the only one living in a fairy tale.
Warcraft is in theaters on June 10.
