So much so, we put together a nifty little Snapchat Q&A so she could answer your wildest questions. Things got deep as Shay talked boots, Bliss and the difference between filming Mother's Day and working on a TV show.
"Filming a movie was similar in a lot of ways and then very different. Obviously having a new cast and crew, it was really fun and also a dream come true to work with Garry [Marshall] and Jennifer [Aniston]."
Between Pretty Little Liars and shooting her new film, we couldn't help but applaud her for finding time to write a novel as well. One fan asked what we were wondering too: When did she and co-author Michaela Blaney start writing? "We decided to write Bliss probably about a year and a half ago—almost two years ago. We were just sitting down talking about our past experiences."
Perhaps those past experiences are what got her in touch with her spiritual side. Shay tells us, "My spirit animal would definitely have to be dolphins. They are my favorite animal, and I just feel like they are most of the time happy-go-lucky!"
Happy-go-lucky could totally describe Shay's sexy style as well. What is her fashion must-have this season? "Favorite fall accessory would have to be knee-high boots. I'm a big fan of boots, and you can never have too many in my opinion." Speaking of accessories, everyone knows you can never go wrong with an iPhone. Most played song? "Alessia Cara's "Here.'"
