He's baaack!
After opening up about his deployment to Afghanistan and angering the Taliban (oops), Prince Harry is once again back on British soil.
Kate Middleton's brother-in-law touched down at the RAF Brize Norton airbase today, returning to the U.K. after a brief decompression period at a base in Cyprus, thereby concluding his four-month stint of service abroad.
"I'm longing to see my brother and sister-in-law, as with any of the soldiers who've just come off the plane after four-and-a-half months away," he told reporters after deplaning.
"I really am longing to catch up with people behind closed doors—you guys aren't invited."
As for his controversial comments earlier this week, Harry didn't mince words: "You get asked to do things you'd expect to do wearing this uniform. And that's as simple as that, really."
So, aside from catching up with Prince William and the rest of his royal family, what plans does Harry have for his immediate future? Well, turns out, that may not entirely be his decision.
"The Army will have an idea, I presume, and what that is I will do.
"Given the opportunity, I'd like to take on more royal stuff, to the extent that, predeployment, I've been very busy—hopefully there'll be a few gaps that open up."
We imagine some doors might be opening.
