Justin Timberlake says he had "the best time" ever making new music. Now we find out if it's any good.
After seven years, a couple of Emmy Awards, a successful acting career, a little wedding and one very detailed Twitter announcement, the singer-songwriter has officially released his new single featuring Jay-Z, "Suit & Tie."
The Timbaland-produced song was introduced in an "open letter" on Timberlake's website, where he also revealed he had "A LOT of fun" teasing his fans last week in the run-up to the unveiling.
The sure-to-be-hit single is the first track off Justin's 20/20 Experience album, which will be released later this year.
Although we didn't particularly enjoy Justin's Twitter tease, we must admit, the new tune lives up to the hype. It's sexy, it's catchy and Justin's signature swoonworthy vocals are on full display.
Add the fact that Jay-Z raps halfway through the epic vocal mashup, we might already have a contender for the top song of 2013.
So take a listen and tell us what you think of J.T.'s hot new tune!
Word of advice: Don't hit that repeat button just yet. We have a feeling this one's going to get a lot of radio play.
"Suit & Tie" is currently available on iTunes.
