It's hard to believe, but it's been over 15 years since Tina Fey took us inside the animalistic and downright hilarious world of teenage girls. But while fetch may never happen, Mean Girls definitely did.
And ever since the teen comedy's debut on April 30, 2004, we've been totally obsessed with the grool—that's great and cool, duh—movie. It proved how funny Lindsay Lohan could truly be, launched the careers of future superstars Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried, introduced us to Jonathan Bennett (whose hair still totally looks sexy pushed back), had us wondering if butter is a carb, and gave Ariana Grande something to spoof in her "thank u, next" video and us something to endlessly quote ad nauseam.
Hell, it even turned the once-forgettable date of October 3rd into a holiday in its own right. Why? Because that's what day it was when Aaron Samuels asked Cady Haron what day it was, duh.
So break out your burn book, crank up the Ladysmith Black Mambazo, unwrap a few Kalteen Bars and join us as we celebrate with 15 totally fetch facts about one of the internet's favorite movies!
