Just a couple of weeks after director Christopher Nolan confirmed that Tom Hardy would be playing bad-guy Bane in the highly anticipated sequel, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is reportedly thisclose to joining the cast as well!
According to Deadline.com, the 29-year-old actor is in talks to reunite with his fellow Inception comrades Nolan and Hardy when production on Dark Knight Rises begins this spring.
Of course, even just the mere thought of Gordon-Levitt possibly coming on board has immediately created speculation as to what role he might take on, especially in light of the fact that Warner Bros. announced recently that Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman.
So, fellow comic book geeks, which character is Gordon-Levitt most likely to play? Hopefully, this riddle will be solved soon.
