The Oscar winner's Earth Alliance organization pledged $3 million to its own Australia Wildfire Fund, which will work with partner organizations including Aussie Ark, Bush Heritage, and Wires Wildlife Rescue.

The Australian actor had pledged $1 million to wildfire relief efforts. "As you're well aware, the brush fires in Australia have caused massive devastation [and] they continue to burn. There's warmer weather on its way [and] we're still in the thick of it here," Hemsworth said in an Instagram video. "There are plenty of challenging times ahead...and what we need is your support and your donations."

Hemsworth also added, "My family and I are contributing a million dollars. Hopefully you guys can chip in too."
