As JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette begins to wind down, two questions remain on viewers' minds: Who will she pick and who will go on to be the next Bachelor?
We've ranked nine of her suitors' chances at becoming ABC's next leading man, from no-way-in-hell to start-fitting-his-tux-for-the-promos...
9. Chad
Gotcha! Sorry, we just thought we'd start off by making you laugh 'cause even The Chad knows there's no chance in HELL he's the next Bachelor after his polarizing stint on the show, filled with threats of violence and lunch meat binges.
"Being the Bachelor would obviously be amazing, to have a choice from a group of absolutely beautiful women...but I don't know," Justin Bieber's favorite contestant told Jimmy Kimmel. "I feel like at this point I was portrayed to be a little too crazy to be that person."
8. Alex
Does he meet the minimum height requirement? We jest, we jest. But we don't think the former Marine has any real chance of being the next Bach.
7. Derek
Yes, we can all agree his tearful limo exit was pretty sad/endearing to watch...but someone at our viewing party said "Oh, poor Dave!" So...
6. James Taylor
He sings. He makes jokes. He doesn't know how cute he is. Sure, James Taylor is this season's lovable underdog, but we don't quite think he has the confidence to land the title.
5. Wells
Come on, don't we think society is ready for our first hipster Bachelor?!
4. Chase
You know that quote from The Mindy Project, where she's all, "My body is very attracted to your body but when you speak my brain gets angry?" Chase sort of is like that for us. But still: super-cute.
3. Robby
The former competitive swimmer has established a pretty solid fanbase since the season started....but he also has it bad for JoJo (and was even the first to say drop the L-bomb). Still, rumors about having a girlfriend back-home, which was teased in promos for the season, could hurt his chances with her...and in the race to become the next Bach.
2. Jordan
He's got the looks, the confidence and the kind of name recognition that ABC would love for their next Bachelor. The only con when it comes to Jordan? The fact that JoJo seems to be gaga for him. But if he doesn't land the final rose at the end, we'd put money on Jordan landing the season 21 role.
1. Luke
Luke has everything going for him in terms of being the next Bachelor. He's sensitive (winning over viewers when he opened up to JoJo about the death of his childhood friend while they served in the army together), passionate (holy steamy makeouts!), has a great body (perfect for those "candid" pensive beach shots!) and would be the franchise's Bachelor who is also a war veteran. Oh, and he also is a singer-songwriter.
