Bad Chad is finally breaking his silence.

Following his dramatic exit from The Bachelorette, Chad Johnson, one of the franchise's most polarizing contestants ever, made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night, where he sounded off on his controversial behavior.

The luxury real estate agent Skyped in from Tulsa, along with his adorable dog Pumpkin (who seems over the entire thing while lounging on the couch in the background), and while he didn't have time to watch last night's episode, Jimmy Kimmel showed him the clip of the guys celebrating, cupcakes, confetti and all, after he was eliminated. "It's pretty hilarious," Chad says with a laugh. "I mean, I get it, like, you took me out. Good job. You sabotaged me, brah."

The Bachelorette's Chad Is Officially Joining Bachelor in Paradise

And when Kimmel asked if he is as "hateable" in real-life as he appeared to be on the show, Johnson says, "I mean I don't think so, I don't know. I have pretty good interactions with people generally."

Die-hard Bachelor Nation fan that he is, Kimmel had to ask about Chad's new romance with fellow suitor Robby Hayes' ex-girlfriend Hope Higginbotham, which he posted about on Instagram. (In the caption, he accused Robby of ending a "four-year long relationship in order to pursue fame on a TV show." Burn!) "We were traveling and we just happened to see each other and things went from there," Chad says of their possible relationship. "It started off as were friends, we were just kind of making jokes about it, but...I don't know. I don't want to make any judgments or say where it's going to go."

But isn't he going to Bachelor in Paradise?! Sounds like a trip to Mexico didn't bring him true love with a former Bachelor contestant, but Chad did say one place he definitely won't be traveling to: Jordan Rodgers' house, after he threatened to find him after filming was over during a tense scene.

"It's not like I would do that. Obviously I have people to do those types of things," Chad jokes (We think?!), before he explains, "Honestly, at that point, I was just joking with him. I was just trying to get the guy to be quiet. You don't know what to say. There was a point where I couldn't even sleep in the next room because they were talking about me so much. So I literally was just, like, how crazy do I have to go until maybe they'll think I'm insane and then they'll just start to leave me alone?"

As for his reputation after his time on The Bachelorette, Chad isn't too concerned. "At the end of the day, it is a show. Things are amplified. We try to be ourselves and we try to be who we are, but at the same time, whoever you are is amplified up about a million times." But he isn't planning on landing the role of ABC's next Bachelor. "Obviously, I am still single and I am still looking for love. Being the Bachelor would obviously be amazing, to have a choice from a group of absolutely beautiful women...but I don't know. I feel like at this point I was portrayed to be a little too crazy to be that person."

The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
