Sarah Jessica Parker

It's not every day you see Sarah Jessica Parkerwest of New York City, let alone all the way in Los Angeles.

But the fans who gathered at an Ulta Beauty location in L.A. to celebrate SJP's newest fragrance, Stash, were treated to exactly such a sighting when the actress showed up for a surprise meet-and-greet at the store.

Parker didn't reveal her location until a few hours before her appearance, and once she was at the store she shared a video message on Instagram, writing, "On your way home from work? On your way to dinner? I'm at West Pico @ultabeauty. Right here. Right now. Here until 9 telling the STASH story. X, sj"

So a literal, drop-what-you're-doing-and-try-not-to-get-a-ticket moment for her biggest fans.

Marketed as a uni-sex perfume that was inspired by male body odor (don't ask us, that's what she said), Stash SJP is Parker's second fragrance, following the mega-hit Lovely.

"A rare visit to southern California," Parker captioned another pic. "I will be here until 9."

Upon arrival, around 100 lucky fans received golden wristbands after purchasing their own bottles of Stash. With the wristband came a free gift—a cute black clutch—and access to the star's signing.

Parker took time to talk to each fan, taking photos, signing personalized Stash advertisements as well as Stash bottles, and even spritzing them with her own bottle of the scent.

The Stash signing comes on the heels (presumably Manolos) of Parker's announcement of a new signature dress collection, Little Black Dress by SJP, launching exclusively at Bloomingdales in October.

Better yet perhaps, the Sex and the City star returns to HBO on Oct. 9 in the comedy Divorce. Just a few days into fall, this is looking to be a most stylish season.
