Take notes, people. This is what being an American is really all about.

Leslie Jones has taken our excitement for the 2016 Rio Olympics to a whole new level, just by witnessing her utter and sheer pride in supporting Team USA. The Olympics have officially been under way for less than 24 hours, and she's already making last night's opening ceremony viewing party look like total amateur hour.

Just take her less-than subtle reaction to seeing shooter Ginny Thrasher win the United States its first gold medal of the Summer Games in the 10-meter air rifle event.

With her very own patriotic ensemble and medal in hand, the comedienne says in an Instagram video, "I wanna give a shout out to Ginny Thrasher for getting us a medal," adding an enthusiastic, "Go USA!"

IM READY FOR THRM OLYMPICS MANE

And her passion for the games isn't singular to one particular event, the Ghostbusters star is our self-proclaimed No. 1 fan of swimming, cycling and most likely every other Olympic sport to come.

Jones has been documenting much of her experience watching the games on social media, adding her own hilarious commentary that gives every other professional commentator a run for their money.

"I would so drown. I cannot swim, that's so sad," Jones narrates in one video from a women's swimming relay event. As for her reaction to the Olympian cyclists, Leslie says, "Man, look at that s---t. Look how fast they're going. That's crazy as hell. I'd skin all my knees."

If this greatness is just a sample of what we can expect from Leslie over the next few weeks, count us in. And bring on the men's gymnastics, because she'll definitely have something to say about the pommel horse.
