Ozzy Osbourne Just Proved That Humans and Their Dogs Really Do Start to Look Alike

This is seriously uncanny.

It's a tale as old as time. Man meets dog, man raises dog, man and dog's genetic material begin to mix until they have morphed into one hybrid species indistinguishable from one another.

And now this tale has happened to Ozzy Osbourne

The musician was spotted yesterday with his four-legged friend, walking out of an office building in Los Angeles. Of course, the spotlight has been on Osbourne because of the recent news of his split with his wife of nearly 34 years, so it's only natural that the first reaction to this photo centered around the fact that he was simply surfacing in the wake of the breakup. Many were wondering what it meant that he was wearing his wedding ring, or whether we were going to see Sharon stepping out as well.

But all of that chatter completely missed the point: Who cares about the wedding ring when you have a dog and owner twinning this hard?

While plenty of owners come to resemble their pets after many years together, there has never been a canine and human who look this uncannily similar. It would be downright spooky if it weren't such a scientific miracle. These two should really be studied by professional geneticists, but in the meantime we'll just be here dissecting every inch of their same-ness.

Let's start at the obvious: The hair. Ozzy is about as famous for his wildly flowing locks as he is for his ability to garble every word in the dictionary beyond recognition, so it doesn't surprise us at all that he would choose a dog with tremendous tresses of its own. From the volume that defies gravity to the texture that looks like they just stepped of a Victoria's Secret beach photo shoot, it's almost as if Ozzy fashioned his pup a wig out of the leftovers of his own hairbrush.

Too far? Never.

It's also worth pointing out that Ozzy and his four-legged doppelgänger have the exact same facial expression. They seem to be saying it is way too early in the morning to be bombarded with paparazzi, and also is there any chance someone could point us in the direction of our car? We seem to be a bit disoriented at the moment, probably on account of your million flashbulbs ruining our morning walk

Or they could just both be thinking really hard about what they're going to get for lunch later. All in a genetically-blended-human-and-canine day's work.
