Happily never after?!

Bachelor Nation, we're exactly two weeks away from the season premiere of The Bachelorette, with JoJo Fletcher set to kick off her televised journey to find love with 26 suitors. Sounds like a fairy tale, right? Too bad there seem to be "dark forces" trying to take over the ABC reality hit.

In E! News' exclusive promo for the new season, premiering Monday, May 23, JoJo gushes that the experience feels like "magic," just before the voice-over ominously asks, "Will dark forces destroy her happy ending?"

Those dark forces? The possible return of a former Bachelor (Could it be Juan Pablo Galavis, who tweeted that he was interested in her?!) and one potentially dangerous suitor. "She could be in danger," one of her contestants says, just as another is seen aggressively banging on a door.

As if that wasn't enough for JoJo, who was  the runner-up on Ben Higgins' season of The Bachelor, to deal with, it looks like one of the guys might just break her heart, and she is seen crying, saying, "I was in love with him. I was going to spend my life with him. Why is this happening?!" (Could one of the guys be borrowing a move from Brooks Forester, the guy who broke up with Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock after making it to the final three during her season?!)

Whoa. Press play on our exclusive video above to see all the "magic" and drama go down.

E! News recently chatted with the 26-year-old real estate developer, where she revealed she wasn't sure at first if her future husband was among the 26 men she met on the first night. "To be honest, that first night was crazy. I don't remember all my conversations, but in the past week or two, I've started to look around the room and I feel like I know my husband's in that room," she told us. "I don't know who it's going to be yet, but I have some really good guys."

Here's hoping one of them doesn't break her heart.

The Bachelorette returns Monday, May 23 on ABC.
