Taylor Swift, Short Bleached Blond Hair

Instagram

Taylor Swift, is that you?

The 26-year-old pop star had debuted a wavy, platinum blond bob on the cover of Vogue's May 2016 issue, which was recently released. Swift posted on her Instagram page Friday, the first day of the California music festival Coachella, a photo showing her sporting an even brighter, almost white hairstyle. E! News has learned she had it dyed Thursday.

In the photo, Swift is also wearing a black jacket with a colorful image of a lightning storm on the back. She paired the look with dark sunglasses and her signature red lips.

"BLEACHELLA," she wrote.

Swift is one of several celebs attending the annual music festival. Her boyfriend and DJ Calvin Harris, 32, is headlining Coachella during the second weekend, which begins April 17. Their friend and pop star Ellie Goulding, 29, who introduced the two more than a year ago, is one of the main performers on Friday.

Swift has undergone several hair transformations over the years. At the 2016 Grammy Awards in February, she debuted a shorter, poker straight ash blond bob with sleek, cropped bangs. Her hair was slightly longer and more wavy before.

Swift sported long, curly tresses during her early years as a country star for years and soon began to step out with straightened or wavy locks, as well as bangs, around 2010.

The singer had had her hair cut shoulder-length back in February 2014. She documented the moment, which a large crowd witnessed, in an Instagram video.
