Demi Lovato dropped a truth bomb on us when she stopped to chat with Ryan Seacrest for E!'s Live From the Red Carpet at the 2016 Grammy Awards, and we're still not over it.

After regaining focus from Lovato's stunning black ensemble, which included a plunging neckline and high-slit, we learned that this is the singer's first time at the famous music awards show! And just like us, Seacrest was shocked to hear this.

"I'm excited to be here at the Grammys. I've never been before," the 23-year-old, who has released a number of hits over the years, exclusively shared with us. And given our reaction, she went on to explain why that is.

"I've never been before, and it's because a long time ago my manager told me, ‘You should wait to go to the Grammys until you're presenting, nominated or performing,'" she continues, adding that, "So here I am performing, and I'm excited."

Lovato will be joining John Legend, Meghan Trainor and Luke Bryan tonight, courtesy of the Recording Academy, to honor Lionel Richie with a performance of his famous songs. "Lionel is an incredible guy, he's so sweet. I love his songs. I'm doing ‘Hello,' it's gonna be fun," she tells us.

Aside from her big night tonight, Lovato has a lot of exciting projects to look forward to, including a tour with longtime friend Nick Jonas. "The Future Now tour is gonna be really exciting. We're gonna be playing songs from our new music, our new albums and stuff, so that'll be cool. You just have to come check it out yourself."

The brunette beauty adds, "Nick and I just started our own record label, Safehouse Records. Not only are we best friends, but we're also business partners, and we get to go out and tour together, it's gonna be so much fun."

The Future Now tour kicks off in June in Florida.
