Netflix's House of Cards returns for its fourth season on March 4 for some very appropriate timing: the 2016 presidential election is in full swing on both the show and in real life. In the latest spot for the Kevin Spacey drama, the actor's conniving Commander In Chief is out on the campaign trail.

This event is a groundbreaking of some sort, with an ominous shot of a shovel scraping dirt, only to pull back and realize it's not a repeat of that moment in the season three finale, it's a sanctioned campaign event.

And yes, Frank is still having his Chief of Staff Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) do his dirty work. (Dude can't actually shovel for himself? Come on, man, you have to show the people why they should actually elect you as president.)

House of Cards has used the ongoing presidential debates to its advantage, debuting a promo that revealed the season four premiere date during the Dec. 15 GOP debate, and focusing another of its teasers around Underwood's 2016 campaign. His slogan? "Putting America Back On Track." Ouch. RIP, Zoe!

Last we saw the Underwoods, the First Couple of the U.S. had split, as Claire (Robin Wright) decided to leave her husband. It's anyone's guess as to what that means for the President and First Lady in season four, since the only things we know about the new episodes are that Neve Campbell will be a new series regular and that they'll be available to stream March 4 on Netflix.
