With a TV show on Comedy Central, a summer blockbuster and stand-up shows all around the country, it's safe to say Amy Schumer has had quite the year.
The Trainwreck actress who won her first Emmy this year for her sitcom Inside Amy Schumer attended the VH1 Big in 2015 With Entertainment Weekly party on Sunday night.
Garnering huge success over the past year, the 34-year-old has used her fame to speak out about gender inequality and female empowerment with numerous speeches and interviews. At the event, Schumer gave a few tips to up-and-coming actors who are about to get their big break.
"Don't ever respond to the press. Do use a condom," the comedian told Entertainment Weekly when asked to share her dos and don'ts with the next generation of stars.
The star and her sister, Trainwreck and Inside Amy Schumer writer Kim Caramele, celebrated with some of Hollywood's A-listers.
Amy even had a few glasses of wine alongside pal Amber Rose as the pair took selfies. "I am pictured here. @amberrose is my friend on the right. We are working on her confidence," wrote Schumer on her Instagram.
"I am also in this picture @amberrose #bigin2015" she wrote as she posed with her "Milk Milk Lemonade" collaborator.
All joking aside, Schumer did enlighten her fans on what she considered one of her proudest moment of the year.
"I'm really proud of the '12 Angry Men' episode of my TV show. I also got to direct that. I was really excited by the response to it," she said on the red carpet.
We're excited to see what 2016 brings for this girl boss as we can only imagine her success will continue to grow.
