Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth joined up over the weekend for a good cause.

The former couple is still quite amicable, which they proved during  an adoption event for Wylder's Holistic Pet Center together over the weekend.

In fact, Cyrus helped Hemsworth take home the newest addition to his family: a huge 6-month-old puppy!

"Thanks @mileycyrus for loving dogs as much as we do!! You helped find this gigantic, 6 month old puppy a new home," the Wylder Pet Center shared a photo of the actor with his new bestfriend on Instagram. "@liamhemsworth you will give this deserving baby a great life!"

We can only imagine the luxurious life this pup is about to get hitting the beach every day while living with Hemsworth in his Malibu mansion!

But Hemsworth wasn't the only one Cyrus helped in finding a new friend this weekend. She also spent some time at the Bella Foundation during an adoption drive where she and pal Wayne Coyne fell in love with an adorable black and white pooch.

Though they're planning on sharing the dog—who they named "Yogi"—he will live with Coyne.

"Yogiiii! Adopted from da @thebellafoundation !!!!!" Cyrus wrote in an adorable selfie with the pup. "Family dawggg! Fwend for Milky. So when Milk comes 2 visit @waynecoyne5 @katyweaver w me she has a bestie!!!"

Milky is Cyrus' newest addition to her growing family of furry friends. She adopted him earlier this month. The cute white pooch joins a big, happy family of Miley's pets, including her piggie Bubba Sue, cat Lilo and dogs Bean and Emu, to name a few.
