Unrequited love: It's a tale as old as time, especially for Charlie Brown.

The Little Red-Haired Girl, a character in the Peanuts comic strip that won over Charlie's heart, has (almost) come forward in the new trailer for The Peanuts Movie. Although you never quite see her face, her red hair is unmistakable. And in addition to the character introduction, we finally have some insights into the movie's plot!

No, Charlie and his famous friends won't be embarking on some new adventure. Instead, Charles Schulz's main character will try to "start over with a clean slate." But some clutzy accidents and a new crush next door, Charlie is going to have some trouble trying to become a "winner" as he so desperately wants to be.

The nearly three-minute long trailer also shows some famous moments from the comic strip, including Peppermint Patty falling asleep in school and Charlie as the world's worst little league pitcher. Of course, Charlie and Snoopy's friendship remains a focal point of the film, which will definitely bring a little tear to your eye as they try to overcome their obstacles no matter how frustrated your favorite dog might become.

So will this finally be Charlie's chance to turn into the winner he has always wanted to be?! We'll have to wait for November to find out, but based on the tone and happy animation of the trailer, we're going to guess and say yes! Plus, with DJ Khaled's "All I Do Is Win" and The Who's "Baba O'Riley" acting as the trailer's soundtrack, we can only assume there's a good outcome here.

Paul Feig, a producer on The Peanuts Movie, opened up to USA Today about the childhood memories the upcoming flick has brought back for him. "You love being back in that world," Feig said. "And you immediately want to grab every kid you know and go, 'Oh, my God, you've got to watch this!'"

Watch the trailer above, and prepare for all the feels.
