With Tomorrowland's release finally just around the corner, we're getting a closer look at what we can expect from the George Clooney-starring movie!
In a new featurette obtained exclusively by E! News, fans see more of what we can expect from the fantasy world. Beautiful imagery and interviews with the cast shed more light on Tomorrowland, a place that transcends space and time. But to the cast and crew, it's more than just a movie.
"When you go and you work on a movie for a long period of time...that becomes your family," Clooney says.
The cast, which also includes Hugh Laurie and Britt Robertson, became very close while working together for so long...unless you're the director.
"I didn't meet the director [Brad Bird]," jokes Clooney. "I hear he's a very nice guy."
Kidding aside, Clooney says he was excited to work with Bird because he "hasn't made a bad film. "Iron Giant was a masterpiece," he says.
Everyone else, however, seemed to take to Amal Clooney's husband very nicely! "George is extremely funny and kind and very, very hard working," Laurie gushes of his co-star. "He's considerate of everyone around him. It's sort of maddening actually!"
With intense action scenes and gorgeous visuals, Tomorrowland will certainly be impressive on the eyes. The featurette reveals just how some of these stunts were pulled off—harnesses and all—all while keeping the stars safe. Bird reveals Robertson had to undergo some "very unusual demands" but she "never cracked."
Based on some of the footage above, we don't know how she didn't!
Other Tomorrowland cast members include Raffey Cassidy, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, Tim McGraw and Thomas Robinson.
